Process Analytics

We are offering Process Analytics such as Turbidity, Transmitter and Conductivity Sensor.

• Turbidity Measurement

Turbidity measurement provide data on the concentration of undissolved, suspended particles present in a liquid phase. The determined particle concentration is used for process monitoring and optimization e.g. to control biomass growth, crystallization and filtration processes or concentration measurement of solid matters in waste water.

Two optical turbidity measurement solutions are available: One is based on the back scattered light technology and the other one on the forward 90° scattered light technology. The first takes advantage of fibre optic technology for full compatibility with Mettler Toledo process housings. The second is available in a big variety of flow-through housings for direct pipe installations.
.
Types Of Turbidity:

•  Medium to High Turbidity Measurement (Back scatter Light Technology)

• RAMS Optical Product Monitor

• Low to Medium Turbidity Measurement (Forward / 90° Light Technology)

• Turbidity Transmitter

Transmitters are an integral part of on-line measurement systems used to monitor and control industrial processes. Mettler Toledo offers a comprehensive range of transmitters for pH, DO, conductivity, resistivity, TOC, dissolved ozone, turbidity, CO2 and flow.

A wide range of transmitters meet specific customer needs in many different industries and with highest standards in line with the demands of modern process technology from basic applications to sophisticated requirements such as HART, Profuse-PA. Foundation field bus communication as well as E Ex approvals for installation in hazardous areas.

Types Of Transmitter:

• Multi parameter Transmitter

•  pH / ORP (Red ox) Transmitter

• Oxygen Transmitter

• Conductivity and Resistivity Transmitter

• Turbidity Transmitter

• Flow Transmitter

• Conductivity Sensor

Conductivity measurements are carried out in industrial processes primarily to obtain information on total ionic concentrations (dissolved compounds) in aqueous solutions. Widely used applications are water purification, CIP and SIP control and the measurement of concentration levels in solutions.

The measuring system consists of an appropriate inline sensor directly inserted or in a housing, a cable connected to a transmitter converting the received signals to a measurement result or forwarding it to a DCS. The conductivity sensors from Mettler Toledo are designed for high process safety, rapid sensor replacement and quick and easy installation.

Types Of Conductivity Sensor:

•  2-Electrode and 4-Electrode Conductivity Sensor

• Inductive Conductivity Sensor

•  Entry Line Conductivity Sensor and Resistivity Sensor

•  Pure Water Treatment Conductivity Sensor and Resistivity Sensor

• Dissolved Oxygen Sensor

High performance sensors for challenging applications in the Chemical, Pharmaceutical and Food & Beverage industries.In-line measurement for the monitoring of dissolved oxygen and CO2 is vital in optimizing product yield, quality and ensuring process safety. In gold and Thornton in-line sensors for the Pharmaceutical, Chemical and Food & Beverage industries provide accurate, real-time information for process control.

Cutting-edge optical technology ensures precise measurement down to trace levels. Further, Intelligent Sensor Management (ISM) minimizes maintenance and offers diagnostics that constantly monitor sensor wear; stressed sensors can be replaced before performance is affected. For dissolved oxygen we also offer portable analyzers for quick sample measurement wherever it is required.
